After beating ViCi 2-0 (16-4 on Mirage and 16-10 on Cobblestone) in the grand final of the Chinese qualifier, TyLoo have qualified for ESL One Cologne.
After two days of best-of-three matches, four Chinese teams made it to the semi-finals, leaving behind the likes of FIVE and BOOT.
The third and last day began with TYLOO meeting Flash for a place in the grand final. After winning their map pick, Mirage (16-10), Hansel "BnTeT" Ferdinand & co. closed off the series 2-0 with a 19-17 overtime victory on Cobblestone.
As for the other semi-final, ViCi were the ones to prevail. After losing the first map, UYA won Mirage with the same scoreline (16-13) and got off to a great start on Overpass with a 12-3 lead by the end of the first half. Despite of losing six different clutch rounds throughout the map, ViCi shut down Vladimir "VofkiN" Shmakov's team hopes with a 19-17 win.
TYLOO started the series with a dominant 16-4 on Mirage and the grand final seemed to be a one-sided affair. ViCi did not back off and secured ten rounds on Cobblestone, but it was HaoWen "somebody" Xu's squad who finished off the series with a 16-10 scoreline.
